The Acadian Family has always been a close knit family and religion was always an integral part of family life.  No Acadian celebration would be complete without some religious activity.  For this Louisiana Purchase Celebration it is only fitting that a Catholic Mass be celebrated, in French, con-celebrated by native Acadian French Speaking priests.  This mass was celebrated in French.  The Altar Servers were Jacob Molbert, Christopher Castille and Nicholas Ware of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Rayne, La.
