| Eddie Richard,
Vice President of CAFA and Loubert Trahan, Treasurer of CAFA are showing a
check in the amount of $10,000 given to CAFA to be used to purchase books
and teaching materials for the French Immersion Program and the teaching
of the French language in Louisiana schools. The donation was made possible through the efforts of Mrs. Louise Beaudoin, La Ministre d'etat aux relations internationales , and her assistant Patrice Bachand. These funds plus the money contributed by the 40 family associations that are members of CAFA will be made available to schools at the beginning of the 2001-2002 school year. |
